With a superior filtering efficiency of 85-90%, the CCS catch can captures oil vapor from crankcase fumes while adding minimal restriction to the system. This proactive filtration prevents harmful carbon deposits on intake valves, preserving engine health and performance over the long term.
High Efficient Air-Oil Separation
The CCS is designed to maximize air-oil separation, achieving a peak efficiency of 85-90%. For comparison, none of the competitors' catch cans Improved Racing tested showed a peak efficiency of more than 60%. These results were achieved on Improved Racing's bench testing system at air flow rates of 0-4.0 CFM and vaporized oil injection rates of 0.20-0.30 grams of oil per minute.
No Sight Glass Needed
Improved Racing's quick-release reservoir is so easy to remove that it eliminates the need for a sight glass. Just push up and twist 1/8th turn to remove the reservoir and look inside. No more fumbling or endless unscrewing to remove the reservoir.
No sight glass also means improved durability at higher operating temps. And no more trying to interpret a difficult-to-read sight glass to check your fluid level. Just look inside!
A powerful wave spring keeps the reservoir locked in place. A safety lock clip is also included just in case you want to be absolutely sure the reservoir cannot be removed.
Fast & Versatile Mounting Bracket System
Improved Racing made the mounting bracket easy to use and remove because some engine bays are tight. Remove the can in seconds by unscrewing the green bracket nut. Installing and positioning is just as quick and easy. If you need a little more leverage, just use a 5/8" or 16mm open end wrench on one of the nut's lobes.
Positive Lock Safety Clip
The CCS comes with a safety lock clip. It's peace of mind for crash protection or track events where a positive lock mechanism is required. Push to insert, pull to remove.
Improved Racing also includes a lanyard that tethers to any of the mounting bracket screws, so you will never lose your lock clip in your engine bay.
Modular Design & Optional Remote Draining
Improved Racing's latest generation CCS oil catch cans feature a modular design with a removable bottom cap. The modular design allows for thinner walls, reducing overall mass and overall height while maintaining the same fluid capacity.
Don't worry about leaks! The bottom cap is securely fastened with a retaining clip, so there is no risk of it coming unscrewed and leaking.
Tight engine bay? No problem: the bottom cap is easily removed and swapped for an optional cap with a drain port (sold separately) for remote draining.
Improved Racing also offers a remote drain kit which includes the replacement bottom cap with drain port, a stainless steel drain valve, hose, and fittings (part number CCS-DKB-06). You can also purchase the bottom cap on its own (part number CCS-26-KIT).

Shipping Policy
JDP Motorsports offers Ground, 3 Day, 2nd Day, and Next Day shipping. Expedited shipping is available. Next Day Air shipping does not guarantee that your product will be delivered the following day, but rather, that your product will be delivered 1 business day after your order has been fulfilled. All shipments come with a tracking number when processing and shipping is final.
Please allow 1-2 business days for orders to be processed. For all items that are not currently in stock, JDP Motorsports will contact you via email to notify you of the estimated shipping date. Some items ship direct from the manufacturer.
JDP Motorsports will send you the tracking information for your order as soon as it becomes available. If you decide to cancel your order after your order has shipped you will be responsible for all shipping charges including any shipping paid by JDP Motorsports as well as return shipping and additional fees depending on the circumstance. JDP Motorsports reserves the right to apply a restocking fee up to 20%.
International Shipping
All orders shipped to international locations including Canada are final and non-refundable. JDP Motorsports may require additional information before your order is processed. International shipping rates will be applied according to the destination and dimensions of the item and will require a signature at the time of delivery. You will be responsible for any additional fees, duties, and taxes. For any orders returned to JDP Motorsports due to non-payment of custom fees or because the item was not claimed a credit will be given minus any shipping/handling costs along with a restocking fee up to 20%.
Return Policy
Returns: New, unused items in their original packaging and in resale condition may be returned within 30 days of the date in which the product was shipped. Please contact JDP for a RMA number before returning any product. All shipping charges including those originally paid by JDP are non-refundable and any return shipping costs are your responsibility. A restocking fee up to 20% may be applied. Any specialized or custom orders are final and non-refundable. Installed items or modified parts may not be returned.
Return Shipping Charges: JDP requires you to use a trackable shipping method when returning product. We will not be responsible for packages that are lost or damaged during transit. We suggest you insure the package when returning the product. JDP is not responsible for any shipping costs on returned items.
Damage Claims: Damage claims should be made with JDP within 24 hours after the product is received. Please make a claim with the shipper if the damage is noticed at the time of delivery. JDP may refuse a return if an issue regarding damaged product is not reported during the stated time frame.
Manufacturer Warranty: Any and all warranties are provided solely by the manufacturer. These warranties can vary depending on the manufacturer and may cover issues after JDP’s return policy expires. Any warranty claim is determined by the manufacturer and JDP does not have control over the outcome regarding the manufacturer’s decision on a warranty issue.
Return Packaging: Returned items must be packaged securely in the original packaging/outer shipping carton. Please do not write on the product packaging and only write on the outer carton. Please write your Authorization Number in clear print on the outer carton. JDP reserves the right to refuse any packages received without a RA number. Returned product must be in new, re-sale condition with all original boxes, including packages, parts, manual, etc. All returns will be inspected at the time the product is received and the refund will be determined. It may take up to 30 days for a credit to be issued.
Restocking Fee: All returns are subject to a restocking fee up to 20% and will be assessed by JDP according to the circumstance of the return.
