Brey Krause 20-22 C8/C8 Z06 Corvette Coupe Harness Bar Mount (R-1130)

Brey-Krause harness mount bar for the 2020-2022 C8 Corvette and 2022 C8 Z06 Corvette Coupe properly locates and supports racing shoulder harnesses relative to the driver. In the case of an accident, it helps protect the driver's shoulders and spine. The harness guides also prevent excessive shifting and fatigue of the driver during the high G loads of cornering and braking. Their bars are easy to install and remove, use only existing holes and mounting points.

The C8 Corvette harness mount bar has been tested and certified using all possible mounting points by an independent lab to handle the types of forces required by the National Highway Traffic Safety Admin. DOT and SAE J385 Rev. MAR 95, Motor Vehicle Seat Belt Anchorages-Performance Requirements. Strength requirements for harness mounts are considerably greater than those for harness guide bars since they must support the entire load applied to the belts.

Due to the extremely limited space in the C8 Brey Krause designed a proprietary internal structure to reinforce the mandrel bent tubing. In addition, they increased the thickness of the tubing to provide you with a harness mount that well exceeds all testing requirements for seat belt anchorages. This Harness Mount works with the existing rollover protection and safety features of the C8 to provide an excellent option for your C8 on the street or track.

Note: Because of mounting locations in the C8, the b-pillar plastic sail panel covers will require slot on either side to be cut. Sail panels replacements can be ordered from your GM Dealer, part (Coming Soon) for driver side, and part (Coming Soon) for passenger side if you do not want to cut the original panels.
