1997-2011 C5/C6 Corvette/C6 Z06-ZR1 - Pfadt - Rear Shock Spherical Bearings

In the Corvette, the rear shocks mount to the lower control arm through a soft rubber bushing. This bushing does not allow the shock to precisely control the movement of the rear suspension and you sacrifice traction. Replacing this bushing with a hard plastic version does take the deflection away but it also places significant side load into the shock which degrades performance and shortens the lifespan of the shock.

Now there is a solution that not only removes all unwanted deflection but also allows for misalignment which removes the side load from the shock. This spherical bearing solutions allows the shock to function at a much higher level of control increasing traction and shock life.
