The car was amazing right out of the trailer and we were able to get the fastest lap during Friday's practice. The driving style from the Camaro to the Corvette is completely different, with the Corvette requiring more finesse.

We knew Saturday would be a great bench mark test with Steve Abbot and Jake Rozelle signed up in the Sports Car Class. It was a battle all day and we lead until the last session. Steve Abbott was able to get around us by a few hundredths, but he were able to beat Jake for 2nd by a few hundredths. Unfortunately, we took ourselves out of the hunt for the Hotchkis Cup when we had an Ice Mode issue, causing us to go off course.

Sunday was a new day and we figured some things out with the traction control system - turn it off. We also installed a set of Hotchkis sway bars to test and the car felt very balanced. We had the fastest average on Sunday by over a second and we were able to take the fastest time of the day and 1st Place in the Sports Car class!

Now we start the tear down process as we add a JDP Stage IV Performance Package. Stay tuned when we take on LS Fest West in a few weeks!!!
